Michael De Ciantis

I am currently a third year Rotman Commerce student currently in the Accounting stream. I have lived in Toronto my entire life and come from an Italian background. I attended St. Michael’s College School before coming to the University of Toronto to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce. My work experience includes a term as an Audit Summer Student with Deloitte. In my first two years with the program, I sought involvement with the Rotman Commerce Law Association, and was most recently the Co-Director of Student Liasions. I am an avid fan of sports, with a particular interest in soccer. I am a devouted follower of both Toronto FC and Arsenal FC, and some would say my level of fanhood borders on the ridiculous. In terms of career goals, I am currently in pursuit of a CA designation and hope to become an experienced professional within the Real Estate industry, as that is the industry in which I am most interested.

Hailey Vasyliw

I am currently entering my second year of study in the Rotman Commerce program at U of T and am specializing in Finance and Economics. Although I am still exploring my various career options, I am currently most interested in pursuing work in either the finance or consulting industries. Before coming to the University of Toronto, I attended the Bishop Strachan School where I was an active member of student life. I continue to remain an involved member of the U of T community both as a member of the Rotman Commerce community and as a member of Trinity College. From volunteering with Lawyers Feed the Hungry with the Trinity College Volunteer Society to being the Director of Corporate Relations for the Rotman Commerce Finance Association to working as an Ambassador for the Student Life Portfolio at Rotman Commerce I simply love being involved. Also, one of my favorite hobbies is dance. I danced competitively growing up and completed my Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations and continue to dance at university as a member of the Silhouettes Dance Company. I also am an active student blogger for Hart House and an avid runner.
